Major Issues Christians Must Consider When Voting

1. Who will I vote for?   

• I will vote for the most pro-life candidate because  
• people are created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27), 
• human life is to be protected (Genesis 9:6), 
• life begins at conception and is precious to God (Matthew 1:18; Luke 1:41-44),  
• abortion is a crime against the life of the unborn child (Exodus21:22-23),
• and God hates the shedding of innocent blood (Proverbs 6:17).  

2. I will vote for the most pro-Israel candidate because God blesses those who bless Israel and curses those who don’t (Genesis 12:3).   

3. I will vote for the most pro-God and pro-religious liberty candidate because blessed is the nation whose god is the Lord (Psalm 33:12).   

4. I will vote for the most pro-debt reduction candidate, because the borrower is servant to the lender (Proverbs 22:7).   

5. I will vote for the most pro-work (capitalist) candidate, because God says if a man will not work neither let him eat (2 Thessalonians 3:10).   

6. I will vote for the most pro-marriage because God is for marriage as defined in Genesis 2:24.   

7. I will vote for the most pro-family and pro-school choice candidate because God gives dads and moms, (not the government), the responsibility of raising and training their children (Proverbs 22:6; Ephesians 6:1-4).  

8. I will vote for the candidate who most closely believes the government’s responsibility is to maintain law and order by rewarding the good and punishing the evil (Romans 13). 

9. I will vote based as close as I can on God’s Word (2 Timothy 3:16), knowing that whoever gets elected, God is the one who allows men to be put into authority (Daniel 2:21).  

Pray fervently, fast regularly, vote biblically, trust completely, and love genuinely.
