The Berean Project takes its name from the believers in Berea, modern day Greece, who were commended because they “received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so” (Acts 17:11).
Their example captures the heart of this ministry: a deep hunger for God’s Word joined with a careful commitment to biblical truth.
The Berean Project exists to help pastors, teachers, and believers around the world study, understand, and faithfully teach the Scriptures by making sound expository and theological resources freely available across languages and cultures.
Receive the Word eagerly. Examine the Scriptures carefully. Teach the truth faithfully.
